In The Light Of The Lord:
Weekday Lenten Reflections

Jesus, as we say in the Creed, is "Light from Light." To him, too, we sing from the psalms: "In your light, we see light (36:10) and "The revelation of your words sheds light, giving understanding to the simple (119:130).

These lenten reflections on the readings for the weekdays of Lent and Easter are, therefore, structured "in the light of the Lord."
Geared for the most important seasons of the church's liturgical year, the meditations are offered to anyone hoping for a deeper faith and spiritual life.

As St. Paul says to the Ephesians: "Live as children of light, for light produces every kind of goodness and righteousness and truth. Try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord" (5:8-10).
